Biking Through Those Terrains

Biking is great fun. It can be enjoyed as a sport or recreation activity. It can also play a very important role in providing a means of transport. Biking is high energy and low maintenance and many people have loved to bike to work, school or to sports activities. There are different kinds of bikes for boys and girls. The ones for boys have a middle handle attached and the girl’s bike is without a handle. Bikes are extremely convenient as a means of transport and eco friendly as well. More and more people are using bikes as a way of showing respect to the world.

Biking offers many health benefits. It is extremely helpful in building physical fitness and cardiovascular strength. It builds muscle and increases your stamina and provides endurance. It is also helpful in relieving stress. No matter where you are riding your bike, whether it is to work, school or pure pleasure, it is sure to relax you. It releases endorphins which are the happy hormones in your body. Biking is a sport that you do anywhere and at any time. It is said that the moment you are on two wheels, you begin to enjoy the ride and it makes it difficult for you to take anything seriously.

Biking is also good for the community, next to walking. It allows you to put one less car on the road. It also helps in saving on fuel. It creates a feeling of working toward a cause for the good of the community. There are many biking trails etc that encourage this sport and make it fun and convenient. The noise level in the community is reduced. Less gas is used, therefore making it an extremely eco friendly vehicle. The maintenance cost is also much lower than a car. And to top it all bikes do not need insurance.

Biking also requires that you have good biking apparel that will be comfortable for you. Make sure that you buy the right pair of biking gear. Another important part of the apparel is the helmet. This is purely for safety purpose and must be worn at all times. Also equally important is a stand for your water bottle. And also a horn or whistle to let people know that you are coming their way. While biking at night it is advisable to attach a light in the front and rare of the bike. This will make you visible in the dark and keep you safe. This will avoid accidents and help you have a safe journey. Sometimes people use their bikes so much that it is a good idea to buy a bag or basket to attach to your bike. Also carrying an air pump in case of emergency is a good idea.

Bike shops offer bikes for everybody. There are boys bikes and girls bikes and also men’s bikes and women’s bikes. This is based on the gender. There are different kinds of bikes depending on how and where you want to use them. For more adventure there are mountain bikes that you can ride on the mountains. These have thicker wheels and tires. There are also cruise bikes and tandem bikes.

Exercise Bike Workout For Weight Loss

Here’s an exercise bike workout for weight loss. First, I must say that overall, I DON’T like using bikes for working out. Why… because it’s an UNNATURAL exercise that doesn’t fit evolution. I’ll explain this more further along in the article. Look, if you do in fact use a bike, then I’m going to show you the best way to make it work for weight loss.

Exercise Bike Workout for Weight Loss

1. DON’T just ride the bike nice and easy while comfortably sitting on it

Here’s a hint you won’t burn much fat. Can you talk in a normal conversation while you’re exercising? If so, you might as well stop doing it. You’re just wasting your time.

2. DON’T ride at the same pace the whole time

This is not going to cause much fat burning. You need to change it up on your body, keep it guessing

3. Do use INTERVALS… high intensity intervals mixed with low intensity intervals

This is the 1 and ONLY WAY to lose a good amount of weight using this piece of equipment. Here is a general outline that works great for most people. You can adjust the times to fit your conditioning.

Ride the bike as fast as you can for 10 seconds. That’s tough, but definitely doable. Next, ride it slow for 50 seconds. You’re still exercising, but this is actually an “active rest”. After that, repeat the 10 high intensity seconds. And so on. You keep repeating the 10 hard seconds followed by 50 easy seconds for at least 20 minutes.

At the end of 20 minutes, you would’ve rode the bike fast for a grand total of 200 seconds… barely 3 minutes. YET… I bet you’re sweating. Hmm, wonder why. Well, because you’re actually working out in a smart manner that’s efficient for burning fat.
