The light output is fantastic and it is very efficient: batteries last a long time. This is the best light for the money, and the best for the size.

The instructions are worthless. So I’ll try to explain it. If you look at the light, you’ll see a round clamp under the light that fits around the handlebars. At the lower back of the clamp is an integrated clip. In the photo, you can see the clip behind the two shiny silver round rivets. So you have a clamp and a clip, and both are used to get the light to firmly attach to your handlebars. The round clamp is the rough adjustment and the clip has an unusual fine adjustment, so keep reading.

First, you’ll need to understand that the clip unscrews when it is open. So unscrew the clip until the screw is about halfway out. Next, try to clamp the light around your handlebars and close the clip. Then, adjust the clamp by sliding it in or out of the larger black housing. The clamp should be adjusted so that it closes fairly snug. If it is not snug, you should >>unscrew the clip and then tighten the clamp by inserting it one more click into the housing< <. Adjust the rubber piece on the clamp so that it is about in the center of the space on which it sits.

Adjust the clip until it is tight. Then, clip it onto your bike.

The trick is to make sure the clamp is snug enough to allow the clip to work. If it doesn’t hold tightly, take it off, adjust the clamp smaller by inserting it more into the housing, and then try it again.

The light is somewhat annoying in that if you take it off, the clip will unscrew itself and you have to refigure out the point at which it should be tightened. But it does work well.

I really hated this thing when I first got it, but now it works well. I wish the instructions were better, or that someone at the company had helped me better when I wrote them.
